Medicine seems to have been at a very low ebb with the ancient Hebrews. Of anatomy they knew nothing. Their physiology was imperfect and filled with superstitions; and their therapeutics unsatisfactory. Hygiene appears to have been most attended to. Of the other departments of medicine we cannot judge of their knowledge.
