Are formed by the union of the vasa deferentia with the ducts of the vesiculae seminales. They open at the lateral and anterior parts of the verumentanum, and convey into the urethra the sperm which is discharged from the vesiculte, as well as that which comes directly from the testicle by the vas deferens. Between them there is often a depression, sometimes of a large size, which is termed Utriculus, U. prostaticus, Vesica seu vesicula prostatica, Sinus pocularis seu prostatae, Corpusculum Weberianum, Weberian organ or corpuscle, which has been regarded as the analogue to the uterus in the female, and thence called Uterus masculinus.
