A vessel sent in 1602 with the "Discovery" by the East India Company on a voyage of exploration toward Greenland. She was afterward sent with the "Susan Constant" and the "Discovery" with colonists to Virginia in 1606 by the Virginia Company.

- An inorganic water-soluble platinum complex. After undergoing hydrolysis, it reacts DNA produce both intra interstrand crosslinks. These crosslinks appear to impair replication and transcription of DNA. The cytotoxicity cisplatin correlates with cellular arrest in G2 phase cell cycle.
