Methyl-propyl-carbinol urethane, a derivative of urethane, differing from the official ethyl carbamate in that the radicle ethyl has been replaced by that of methyl-propyl-carbinol. It appears to be a more active hypnotic than ethyl carbamate.

- An inorganic water-soluble platinum complex. After undergoing hydrolysis, it reacts DNA produce both intra interstrand crosslinks. These crosslinks appear to impair replication and transcription of DNA. The cytotoxicity cisplatin correlates with cellular arrest in G2 phase cell cycle.
