Besides "Martyrs to Circumstance" (1861), and "The Yelverton Correspondence" (1863), both relating to her notorious marriage with Major Yelverton, she has written: "Zanita: A Tale of the Yosemite" (1871); "Fifty Thousand Miles of Travel Round the World" (1874); "Teresina in America" (1875).
